Andrew came through the one-year MSIS program and started with a project in Léonard’s Generative AI course, fine-tuning a language model into a working chatbot. That project grew into a collaboration with Ming Fan and Apurva Jain on whether LLM agents can reason well enough to run a supply chain — and into a co-authored paper, Socratic Iterative Reasoning, which he presented at an international conference before starting his PhD.
